Ainsley''s Birth Announcement!!
I am not pregnant anymore!!
Ainsley finally decided to make her appearance on Thursday, May 14th...after my water had broken 24 hours previously with still nothing major happening! I had finally given up on ever having the child And my midwife decided if I had not had her by the morning I would do castor oil since my water was already broken for so long ...let me tell you, involuntarily leaking for 24 hours is NOT fun! So I had given in to defeat & gone to bed (dreading the next morning lol) & I woke up at 4am with contractions. I took a shower & then called my midwives at 5am; they got to the house around 5:45/6am and Ainsley came into the world after 3 pushes at 7:14am! Technically I can't say that I had a "water birth", as I was STANDING in the pool when she came out, but I did have a "water birth" She was definately ready to be out, she had no vernex on her (the white stuff babies are usually covered in), and no blood, her eyes were wide open & she was crying! She should have listened to Mama about coming out sooner
She weighed in at 7lb 2 oz, 20 inches long.
We are both doing great, she is a happy little nurser that's already got my milk in! and the kids are so happy to have their new sister around (for those that don't know, I have the "A-Team", that's my nickname for the kids since they all start with "A's"...Aidan, Addisyn, Avery, and now Ainsley). I am so thrilled with my homebirth, everything was amazing & perfect, and I am darn sure happy to not be pregnant anymore, LMBO
Here is the birth announcement I made for Ainsley, and a few pictures!
The final belly picture: 41 weeks, 3 days
*This was taken of Ainsley when she was 10 hours old*

Re: Ainsley's Birth Announcement!!
Wow girl you went through a lot...my 4th was the same way, my water broke and 51 hours later he decided it was time! Your kids are the opposite of mine, I have 3 girls & 1 boy too but my boy is last. Congratulations!

Congratulations and what a beautiful name. Great pics that you shared. Very nice and not too intrusive. Can't believe you are already back on line. WTG!
